Where is House of Pilates?
House of Pilates is in the SoSo (South of Southern) area, a residential neighborhood in West Palm Beach. For privacy reasons, the specific address is not provided until the booking is confirmed.
What equipment do you have?
House of Pilates has a Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel along with more typical equipment you'd see in a gym such as bands, weights, and foam rollers.

Do you offer any sort of group classes?
House of Pilates exclusively offers one-on-one private sessions. Nolan believes this is the safest and most effective way to address each individual’s specific goals. Similar to how no two people are the same, no two sessions that Nolan gives are the same. Her one-on-one approach allows clients to safely master Pilates form at their own pace.
Can I do Pilates if I have an injury?
Please consult your doctor before engaging in physical activity while injured or while recovering from an injury.
Is Pilates safe during pregnancy?
Yes, although throughout pregnancy certain types of exercises must be eliminated for safety reasons.
Can I do Pilates with osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is a condition that weakens your bones and makes them less dense than they should be. More specifically, osteoporosis occurs when the trabecular arches within the bone become thinner and the spaces within the bone become larger. Bone tissue constantly breaks down and rebuilds throughout one’s lifetime, so osteoporosis occurs when more tissue is breaking down than rebuilding. Brittle bones make people with this condition more prone to fractures and pains within their bodies.
People with osteoporosis can do pilates and often find it quite beneficial, but it takes a trainer with advanced knowledge to effectively and safely train clients with osteoporosis.
Will Pilates cure my scoliosis?
Scoliosis is a deviation of the spine in the lateral plane and, often, the transverse plane. The spine can either have one deviation called a “c” curve or more than one deviation called an “s” curve. Scoliosis can either be structural or functional. Pilates cannot cure structural scoliosis or any structural back issue for that matter; however, Nolan works with each case individually to analyze the severity of clients’ scoliosis and determine what type of strengthening or stretching can help them move more functionally and free of strain.
I have Pilates equipment at my house. Can you come to me?
Yes, please let Nolan know the particulars of your desired teaching location when you reach out.
Do you take any COVID-19 or illness precaution?
Yes, each piece of equipment is wiped down after every client and there is also a professional grade air filter in the room.
