Let's Get To Know Each Other

Nolan is a native Pennsylvanian. She was born and raised in a Philadelphia suburb called Gladwyne, but, as a nationally-ranked equestrian, she spent most of her time on the road traveling to and from competitions.

Upon graduating high school, she made the difficult decision to put her equestrian pursuits on pause to fully immerse herself in the educational rigor of The University of Pennsylvania. Despite no longer competing, Nolan's years of horseback riding were catching up to her in the form of constant joint strain, major lower back and neck issues, muscular imbalances, and postural misalignments. This forced her to become her own health advocate and do a deep-dive into the potential cause and solutions to her ailments. She was consistently in pain and all of the workouts she did seemed to only exacerbate her issues until she found Pilates. She became dedicated to the practice and was grateful to learn at the hands of some of the best instructors.

Nolan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Penn with a dual degree in Political Science and Communications. She went on to work in Politics but over many years came to the realization that her true passion was the intersection of Pilates, fitness, and injury rehabilitation.

After moving to Palm Beach with her husband in 2020, Nolan began her instructor training and became a comprehensively certified instructor by Balanced Body, one of the leading certifications in the field of Pilates.
Welcome To My House!

Nolan founded House of Pilates, which is situated on the grounds of Nolan's home in West Palm Beach, FL. House of Pilates is an exclusive, private Pilates studio offering one-on-one instruction that is curated to each individual client. House of Pilates has all the traditional pieces of Pilates equipment-- Reformer, Barrels, Cadillac, and two Chairs-- in addition to more traditional gym equipment and props including bands, exercise balls, and a weight bench.

Nolan wanted to bring the same form-focused and tailored approach to her clients that she received from her mentors helping her address her compensations and weaknesses. Because, let's face it, whether you are an athlete or a professional at a desk job, we all have imbalances that need to be addressed.

This is not your average, cookie-cutter Pilates class; no two people are the same, so their fitness regimes shouldn't be either. Nolan assesses clients’ physical abilities, taking into account structural limitations and weaknesses, and curates sessions targeted at building strength and creating more functional movement patterns. Nolan's instruction is meticulous, detail-oriented, and form-focused.

Nolan considers herself a lifelong student and continues to hone her craft while studying other forms of fitness to ensure she and her clients never plateau. Her clients run the spectrum in age and fitness level, and she looks forward to welcoming you into her House of Pilates, regardless of where you are at in your Pilates or fitness journey.
